Young Actors Academy – 3 weeks, full-time - £1,500

Have you ever acted in a school play? Would you like to find out how stage performance differs from acting in front of the camera?

If you're between 14 and 18 years old and you'd like to learn how to act in the movies, then this unique acting academy has been designed for you.

The three-week course will take place at our facilities in Ealing Studios, and will be taught by a professional acting coach. You will learn acting skills as well as the technical skills necessary for you to act confidently in front of a camera.

You will act in filmed exercises and also shoot exercises yourselves so that you know what it is like to be on the other side of the camera. The course will be challenging, requiring a lot of hard work from you but it will also be fun and extremely rewarding.

Part-Time Acting for Film - £1,750

Taught by two instructors – an acting coach and a professional film director – over the course of 14 weeks you will learn core acting skills as well as all the technical skills necessary for you to perform confidently in front of a camera.

All courses are taught at our facilities in Ealing Studios where you will have access to our state-of-the-art fil m equipment from broadcast quality cameras to HD quality edit suits.

You will act in filmed exercises and also shoot exercises yourselves so that you know what it is like to be on the other side of the camera.

Acting for Film - 4 weeks, full-time - £2,000

This course has been developed for people who are serious about becoming a film actor, or wish to develop existing acting skills, though no previous experience is required.

The majority of acting courses tend to emphasise theatre technique but many aspiring actors are in need of specific film skills such as knowing about eye-lines, hitting your marks and finding the light. This course will give you a more technical understanding of film so that you feel more secure when acting in front of a crew.

Taught by two instructors, an acting coach and a professional film director, you will act in numerous filmed exercises that will be analysed in class so that you can learn from your mistakes and improve your performances as the course progresses.

You will also learn filmmaking skills by directing and acting as crew (operating the camera, recording sound) on a number of short exercises themselves.
