Documentary Filmmaking – 8 weeks, full-time - £4,000

With the guidance of an experienced documentary filmmaker you will research and develop your project. You will review the history of the documentary and analyse examples of successful films in the marketplace today. We will show you how to approach sound, camera and editing in the context of the documentary. You will also benefit from individual mentoring as you shoot and edit your projects.

Your film will be professionally graded and mixed before an end-of-course screening. FourDocs, the new documentary website from Channel 4, is keen to screen documentaries made by our students; which means that you will get invaluable exposure on the world's first dedicated interactive documentary broadband 'channel'.
